Third state of matter

The installation "Third State of Matter" was presented as part of the exhibition “DIE NEUEN 24” at Ravensberger Spinnerei, BBK_OWL, Bielefeld (28.01.–11.02., 2024).
Melting ice touches light-sensitive watercolor paper — fragments of frozen time leaving their own traces in shades of blue. As the ice dissolves, a photogram emerges: a silent imprint born from the cyanotype reaction, recording the dialogue between matter, light, and temperature.
The work reflects on cycles of transformation and loss, echoing the fragile equilibrium of our changing climate — where beauty and disappearance coexist in a single, fleeting gesture.

You can explore the main elements of the installation here.

Σπίτι μου, σπιτάκι μου (Mein Haus, mein Häuschen)

A bird’s nest turned blue by cyanotype — where sky and shelter become one. Under plexiglass, it rests as a fragile relic of home and change, a quiet reflection on belonging, fragility, and survival.

(Art installation: bird’s nest with cyanotype, plexiglass, cardboard, LED, steel frame).

Snapshots/ Opinion Shots

As part of the art competition "Wagnis.Wagner" (under the jury of Roland Nachtigäller, director of the Marta Herford Museum), my photo installation "Snapshots / Opinion Shots" was created in Minden in summer 2019 (on display from 7.09. to 6. 10. 2019 in the city centre of Minden), with catalogue. The art project was inspired by the performances of Richard Wagner's opera cycle "Der Ring des Nibelungen". The city of Minden's cultural office, the Association for Contemporary Art and Minden Marketing organised the art competition. A total of 10 projects (objects, street art, projections and installations) were selected from the applications. The challenge was an artistic exploration of the "Wagner myth".
