lumen prints

When classic black and white photographic paper is used to illuminate objects, the coloured image result is also known as a ‘lumen print’. Black and white paper also contains coloured layers, which react on contact with sunlight to create an image. Each image is unique. One of the pioneers of this process was the photography pioneer William Henry Fox Talbot, who produced the first photograms around 1834.
